What to Bring

Over the years, as well as giving their time, many of our volunteers have generously donated the teaching materials and resources that we have.

• We are always in need of teaching materials: flashcards, childrens story books, craft supplies, song books, sports equipment, and any type of children's educational products.

• We hope to canvass for donors to buy a television set and video player (or a projector) for each of the five village schools, so teachers can supplement their teaching approach with lively and colorful characters available only through Children's educational videos.

• Volunteers have given the children souvenirs from their home countries, such as coins , stamps, stickers, pencils, trinkets, and many other special memorabilia. All of these small gifts are excellent keepsakes for the children and are things that they will really treasure.

• If you play an instrument or have a special interest or talent that you feel is appropriate to share with the students, please feel free to do so. Children all over the world love to sing or learn a new game or dance. This is also part of the volunteering experience.
