Jade grew up in Canada where she developed a love for the outdoors and nature. At the age of six she discovered the joys of traveling, when her family took a trip to Mexico. Growing up, her love of travel was fed by family backpacking trips around Mexico and Thailand. After graduation, Jade chose to work odd jobs to support her desire to travel. A couple of years later she found herself in Yangshuo, which first attracted her with its natural beauty. She accepted a job with Owen College and plans to stay here for several months, before resuming her wandering ways.
